Interested in jewelry appraisal for your estate, personal property or insurance? Gem Facets Appraisal is an expert Jewelry and Watch valuation and evaluation services provider in Dallas, Texas. All of our appraisals are done by Graduate Gemologists from the GIA.  We offer custom valuations for new jewelry replacement, loss/theft for insurance, estate matters, philanthropic giving as well as provide fair market valuations for those looking to sell their pieces. We do buy and sell jewelry as well, but can also connect you with one of our trusted vendors and offer you guidance in our opinion of the most appropriate place to sell your pieces. All appraisals are done using GIA guidelines and Appraisal International Society (AiS Code of Ethics) using standard gemological equipment and come with a report based on the type of appraisal requested. Included in the report: a detailed description of the item, estimated weight and estimated measurements of gemstones, color and clarity grading, metal purity, condition report, digital photographs, cleaning of the item (if able) and a digital copy if requested. Appraisals start at $125 and we can also offer an hourly rate depending on the size and scope of the project. We specialize in diamonds, colored gemstones and pearls. Due to the difficulty and required advanced testing, we do not offer appraisals of Jadeite or Nephrite without a previous appraisal or authentication report.
